We will be praying for the repose of the Holy Father's soul at the morning Holy Hour at St. James this week, Thursday & Friday 6:30-7:30.
There will be a Holy Hour is evening, Wednesday, April 23 with the rosary at OLV at 6pm for Pope Francis.
We will have a Holy Hour on Friday, April 25 at OLR immediately after the 8:15 Mass with a rosary offered for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis.
Adoration and Confessions will be shortened and we will offer a Mass for the Pope at 6pm at St. James on Monday, April 28.
Next Tuesday, April 29 at 7pm we will offer the evening Mass for Pope Francis, with readings and prayers chosen from the Mass for the repose of the soul of the Pope. (We have to do Masses and readings for the Easter Masses this week)

A Request from Fr. McCullough
The availability of liturgical ministers is an indicator of overall parish vitality, though sometimes it lags a bit because volunteers stay in their roles for many years, and we don't see the effects of fewer people signing up so long as the established volunteers keep showing up. We appreciate the many people in our family of parishes who help distribute Communion, read, serve, and sacristan.
If you have been considering receiving training and starting in one of these ministries, please consider this your invitation and talk to Fr. McCullough or Fr. Christian or contact the office. Perhaps even better, if you know someone in the parish who you think would be a good fit for one of these roles, be sure to invite them personally to consider it. A personal invitation often gives people the courage to consider taking on this responsibility that they may otherwise not have.
